Statement credits can reduce the amount you owe on your Card after you make qualifying purchases or pay for qualifying services. The Platinum Card® includes statement credits in several categories, and each benefit has its own requirements.
Some benefits require enrollment before you can receive the statement credit. Other benefits require you to use the Platinum Card® for qualifying purchases, memberships or bookings.
Because the benefits have different schedules and requirements, the amount of value you receive depends on which benefits you are able to use.
The Platinum Card® offers up to $200 in Uber Cash each year. You can receive $15 in Uber Cash each month plus a bonus $20 in December when you add your Platinum Card® to your Uber account to use on rides and orders in the U.S. when you select an Amex Card for your transaction.
Plus, when you use the Platinum Card® to pay for an auto-renewing Uber One membership, you can get up to $120 in statement credits each calendar year. Terms apply.
The Platinum Card® offers up to $300 in statement credits each calendar year for eligible digital entertainment purchases. The Platinum Card® offers up to $200 in statement credits per calendar year when you select one qualifying airline and incidental fees, such as checked bags and in-flight refreshments, are charged by the airline to the Platinum Card® Account.
American Express relies on airlines to submit the correct information on airline transactions to identify incidental fee purchases. If you do not see a credit for a qualifying incidental purchase on your eligible Card after 8 weeks, simply call the number on the back of your Card.
Qualifying airlines are subject to change. See terms & conditions for more details.

The amount of value you receive depends on which benefits you are able to use and whether your purchases or memberships meet the applicable requirements.

A FICO® Score is a proprietary credit score created by the Fair Isaac Corporation (FICO). About 90% of top U.S. lenders use it to make lending decisions.
FICO® Score Ranges:
FICO categorizes scores as Poor, Fair, Good, Very Good, and Exceptional.
A credit score is a three-digit number (300–850) predicting your creditworthiness. Lenders use it to evaluate risk and determine rates and terms for credit.
Why it matters: A higher score can help you qualify for loans and lower interest rates. A lower score can lead to higher borrowing costs or application denials.
Note: Credit scores reflect your creditworthiness but do not guarantee approval for any credit product.
