No, Citibank does not currently offer an unsecured credit card specifically designed for people with bad credit. Citi offers a variety of unsecured credit cards, but most are intended for people with at least good credit, and in most cases, excellent credit is required. For people who are rebuilding their credit, Citi does offer a secured credit card, which requires a security deposit.

Citi does not currently have an unsecured credit card specifically marketed for people with bad credit. Its unsecured credit cards are generally designed for applicants with stronger credit, while its credit-building option is a secured card that requires a security deposit.
Citi does offer a pre-qualification tool that allows you to see if you may qualify for certain credit-card offers without affecting your credit score. However, if you have bad credit, we would not recommend attempting to apply for a Citi credit card simply because you can pre-qualify. Most Citi unsecured cards are intended for applicants with stronger credit.
If you want to know which Citi credit card you can get with bad credit, including the secured-card option and what Citi considers when reviewing an application, see our What Citi Credit Card Can I Get With Bad Credit? page.
If you have bad credit and are looking for an unsecured credit card with no security deposit, there are other credit cards specifically designed for people with less-than-perfect credit. Some of these cards also offer pre-qualification without an initial impact to your credit score.
If you want to see a list of bad credit credit cards with no deposit, see our Bad Credit Credit Cards With No Deposit page. We include five unsecured credit card options that do not require a security deposit.
If you specifically want to see the two cards we selected as our best pre-approved credit cards for bad credit, see our Best Pre-Approved Credit Cards for Bad Credit page.
After more than 25 years of reviewing credit cards, we selected these two cards based on their fees, features, pre-approval options, and how the accounts are structured compared with many other cards available to people with bad credit.

A FICO® Score is a proprietary credit score created by the Fair Isaac Corporation (FICO). About 90% of top U.S. lenders use it to make lending decisions.
FICO® Score Ranges:
FICO categorizes scores as Poor, Fair, Good, Very Good, and Exceptional.
A credit score is a three-digit number (300–850) predicting your creditworthiness. Lenders use it to evaluate risk and determine rates and terms for credit.
Why it matters: A higher score can help you qualify for loans and lower interest rates. A lower score can lead to higher borrowing costs or application denials.
Note: Credit scores reflect your creditworthiness but do not guarantee approval for any credit product.
