The easiest secured credit card to get approved for may be an opensky® secured credit card because opensky® says no credit check is required and that 89% of applicants are approved. That can make these cards particularly interesting if you have bad credit, no credit history, or simply don't want another credit-card application to involve a credit check.
opensky® currently offers several secured credit cards, and I'm going to look at three of them here. All three are designed for people who are trying to build or rebuild credit, but they have different deposit requirements, fees and credit-limit ranges.

opensky® says no credit check is required and that 89% of applicants are approved. That is the biggest reason I'm including these cards when talking about the easiest secured credit cards to get approved for.
With a traditional credit card application, your credit history can play a major role in whether you're approved. opensky® takes a different approach. Instead of relying on a traditional credit check, you provide a refundable security deposit that secures your credit line.
That doesn't mean everyone is guaranteed approval, but it does make opensky® worth looking at if you've had trouble getting approved for other credit cards.
The opensky® Launch Secured Visa® Credit Card starts with a refundable security deposit of just $150, making it the lowest-deposit option of the three opensky® cards discussed here.
opensky® says no credit check is required and advertises an 89% approval rate. The card offers credit lines from $150 to $1,000 and reports your payment history to Experian, Equifax and TransUnion.
The Launch card also offers up to 10% cash back on everyday purchases. The annual fee is $24 during the first year, paid as $2 monthly installments, and $36 after the first year, paid as $3 monthly installments. The listed purchase APR is 28.24% variable.

The opensky® Plus Secured Visa® Credit Card is another option if you're looking for an easy-to-get secured card without a credit check.
opensky® says no credit check is required and advertises an 89% approval rate for this card as well. The security deposit starts at $300, and the credit line ranges from $300 to $3,000 at the time of application.
One thing that stands out about the Plus card is that it has a $0 annual fee. It also offers up to 10% cash back on everyday purchases and reports your account to all three major credit bureaus.
The listed purchase APR is 28.24% variable.
➤ Check Out the opensky® Plus Secured Visa® Credit Card
The standard opensky® Secured Visa® Credit Card is the third option I'm including. It also does not require a credit check, and opensky® advertises an 89% approval rate.
The refundable security deposit starts at $200, with a credit line from $200 to $3,000 at the time of application. Like the other opensky® cards, it reports your account to Experian, Equifax and TransUnion and offers up to 10% cash back on everyday purchases.
The annual fee is $35, and the listed purchase APR is 23.89% variable.

The opensky® Launch Secured Visa requires the smallest initial security deposit of the three, starting at $150. The regular opensky® Secured Visa starts at $200, while the opensky® Plus Secured Visa starts at $300.
That could make the Launch card particularly interesting if coming up with a large security deposit is difficult. On the other hand, the Plus card has a $0 annual fee, so the amount of the initial deposit isn't the only thing to consider.
No. opensky® states that no credit check is required for these secured cards. That's one of the main reasons they can be worth considering if you're concerned about applying for a credit card with poor credit or no established credit history.
opensky® also states that these cards report to Experian, Equifax and TransUnion, which means the accounts can be used to establish or rebuild your credit history through responsible use.
If you're specifically looking for a secured card with no credit check, the opensky® cards discussed above are worth considering. opensky® says 89% of applicants are approved, and the cards don't require a credit check.
Which one makes the most sense depends largely on how much you're comfortable putting down as a refundable security deposit and whether you want to pay an annual fee. The Launch starts at $150, the standard opensky® Secured starts at $200, and the Plus starts at $300 but has no annual fee.
If you've been turned down for secured or unsecured credit cards because of your credit history, these cards give you another option to consider.
opensky® secured credit cards are worth looking at if your main concern is getting approved without a credit check. opensky® says no credit check is required and advertises an 89% approval rate, while all three cards can be used to build or rebuild credit.
The important thing is to look at the individual card's deposit requirement, annual fee and credit limit before applying. If one of these opensky® cards fits your situation, you can check out the offer above and see whether it is available to you.

A FICO® Score is a proprietary credit score created by the Fair Isaac Corporation (FICO). About 90% of top U.S. lenders use it to make lending decisions.
FICO® Score Ranges:
FICO categorizes scores as Poor, Fair, Good, Very Good, and Exceptional.
A credit score is a three-digit number (300–850) predicting your creditworthiness. Lenders use it to evaluate risk and determine rates and terms for credit.
Why it matters: A higher score can help you qualify for loans and lower interest rates. A lower score can lead to higher borrowing costs or application denials.
Note: Credit scores reflect your creditworthiness but do not guarantee approval for any credit product.
