How to Check Your Instacart Mastercard Balance

If you have an Instacart Mastercard®, you can check your credit card balance through Chase Online or the Chase Mobile® app. The Instacart Mastercard is issued by JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., so your credit card account and balance are managed through Chase.

You can also use Chase to review your account activity and statements, which can help you see recent purchases, payments and other transactions that make up your current balance.

How Can I Check My Instacart Mastercard Balance Online?

The easiest way to check your Instacart Mastercard balance online is through your Chase account.

  1. Go to Chase Online and sign in to your account.
  2. Find your Instacart Mastercard in your list of Chase accounts.
  3. Select the card to view your account information.
  4. Review the balance and recent account activity shown for your credit card.

Chase also provides access to your statements online. The Instacart Mastercard page says cardmembers can access their statements through Chase Online, so you can use your online account to review more than just the current balance.

How Can I Check My Instacart Mastercard Balance on the Chase App?

You can also check your Instacart Mastercard balance using the Chase Mobile app.

  1. Open the Chase Mobile app and sign in.
  2. Select your Instacart Mastercard from your Chase accounts.
  3. Review the balance displayed for the account.
  4. Check your recent transactions if you want to see what has been charged to the card.

If you don't already have the Chase Mobile® app, you can download it from Chase's official mobile banking page. Download the Chase Mobile app for your iPhone or Android device.

Chase says its digital banking tools can provide access to up to 24 months of transaction history and up to seven years of credit card and bank statements, so the app can also be useful if you need to review older account activity.

Is My Instacart Mastercard Balance the Same as My Instacart Credit Balance?

No. Your Instacart Mastercard balance and your Instacart account credit balance are two different things.

Your Instacart Mastercard balance is the amount associated with your Chase credit card account. It reflects activity on the credit card, including purchases and payments.

Your Instacart credits are credits available in your Instacart account that can be applied toward eligible Instacart purchases. These credits are managed through Instacart rather than through your Chase credit card account.

Instacart says you can view your available credits, promotions and credit history by going to your Instacart account and selecting Credits, promos, and gift cards.

Where Can I Check My Instacart Mastercard Points?

Your Instacart Mastercard rewards are also separate from your credit card balance.

Chase's current Instacart Mastercard rewards agreement says that the cash back rewards earned through the card are tracked as points. You can see the points you've earned through Chase Online and on your monthly credit card statement.

If you use the Instacart Mastercard's Pay with Points feature, you can also check your available points when you select the Instacart Mastercard as your payment method during checkout on Instacart.

That means you may see several different balances or amounts associated with your Instacart Mastercard and Instacart account, but they serve different purposes:

  • Credit card balance: Your balance on the Instacart Mastercard account managed by Chase.
  • Instacart credits: Credits available for eligible purchases through your Instacart account.
  • Instacart Mastercard points: Rewards earned through eligible purchases with the credit card.

Can I See My Instacart Mastercard Transactions?

Yes. Your Chase account allows you to review activity on your Instacart Mastercard.

Checking your recent transactions can be useful if you are trying to determine why your balance changed. You can compare the purchases shown in your Chase account with your receipts and recent Instacart orders.

Keep in mind that an Instacart order can sometimes have an authorization hold before the final amount is determined. Chase explains that Instacart purchases can have a temporary authorization hold to account for changes to the final order total, such as substitutions, added items, special requests or differences in the actual weight of items. The final statement amount reflects the completed order total.

How Do I Check My Instacart Mastercard Statement?

You can access your Instacart Mastercard statements through Chase Online or the Chase Mobile app.

Your statement provides a more detailed record of your account than simply looking at the current balance. It can show your purchases, payments and other account activity for the billing period.

If you are trying to determine how much you owe by a particular due date, your statement is especially useful because it provides the billing information associated with that statement period.

What If My Instacart Mastercard Balance Looks Wrong?

If the balance in your Chase account does not look the way you expect, review the recent transactions first. Look for purchases, payments, credits or temporary authorization holds that could explain the difference.

If you see a transaction you do not recognize or believe there is an error with your account, contact Chase using the customer-service information provided with your card or account statement.

Because the Instacart Mastercard is issued by Chase, questions about the credit card account, transactions or balance should be handled through Chase rather than through the regular Instacart account balance tools.

Instacart Mastercard Balance: The Bottom Line

The simplest way to check your Instacart Mastercard balance is through Chase Online or the Chase Mobile app. After signing in, select your Instacart Mastercard to view the account balance and recent activity.

It's important not to confuse your credit card balance with your Instacart credits or your Instacart Mastercard rewards points. Your credit card balance is associated with your Chase account, while Instacart credits and promotions are shown in your Instacart account.

If you need more detailed information about your account, Chase also provides access to your Instacart Mastercard statements through Chase Online and the Chase Mobile app.

FICO® Credit Scores

A FICO® Score is a proprietary credit score created by the Fair Isaac Corporation (FICO). About 90% of top U.S. lenders use it to make lending decisions.

FICO® Score Ranges:

  • Exceptional: 800–850
  • Very Good: 740–799
  • Good: 670–739
  • Fair: 580–669
  • Poor: 300–579

FICO categorizes scores as Poor, Fair, Good, Very Good, and Exceptional.

What is a Credit Score?

A credit score is a three-digit number (300–850) predicting your creditworthiness. Lenders use it to evaluate risk and determine rates and terms for credit.

Why it matters: A higher score can help you qualify for loans and lower interest rates. A lower score can lead to higher borrowing costs or application denials.

FICO® Credit Score Facts

Key Characteristics:
  • Three-Digit Number: Summarizes your credit risk.
  • Range: 300–850; higher scores = lower risk.
  • Data Source: Uses your credit reports from Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion.
  • Industry Standard: Lenders rely on FICO for mortgages, auto loans, and credit cards.

Note: Credit scores reflect your creditworthiness but do not guarantee approval for any credit product.
